How to jump a vehicle, steps to follow.
1. Position vehicles so they are close enough for the jumper cables to reach both batteries but ensure they are not touching!
2. Turn off both vehicles (and remove keys out of the ignition)
3. Locate the Positive (+) and the Negative (- ) terminals on both vehicle batteries, They are usually marked with red (+) and black (-) symbols
4. Attach one end of the red jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal of the dead batter. Connect the other end of the red cable positive (+ ) terminal of the working battery.
6. Attach one end of the black jumper cable to the negative (-) terminal - of the working battery
